Compassion Capital Grant
 
The Compassion Capital Grant has been released.  Go to
http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/ccf/  for information on these two faith-based friendly requests for proposals. 
 
The grant is broken into two areas:
 
CCF Targeted Capacity Building Program has $15 million to give.  Grants are up to $50,000 and will go to 300 faith-based and community organizations.  The four priority areas are:  at-risk youth, the homeless, voluntary marriage education and preparation services and social services to those living in rural communities.
 
The second amount of $16.9 million, from the CCF Demonstration Program, is available to up to 17 intermediary organizations which serve as a bridge between the federal government and faith-based and community organizations.  Deadline for this grant is June 13, 2005.
